Festival tickets will go on sale soon
Dear festival supporter
The Stradbroke Chamber Music Festival is returning again (the 17th festival!) on 18–20 July 2025.
This year we welcome back violinist Hed Yaron Meyerson, currently associate concertmaster of the Rotterdam Philharmonic, acclaimed Perth violist Sally Boud, pianists Liam Viney and Anna Grinberg, and our inspirational festival core musicians. For the Saturday-evening concert, much-loved jazz trio Trichotomy will be presenting a brand-new collaboration with the wonderful African kora player Ziggi Mabeye Diagne.
Throughout the program there are threads of connection – between pieces, composers and places. Schubert’s presence is very much felt, especially in Brahms’s epic second piano quartet, while earlier in the festival weekend we will hear how he also inspired Dvořák and Coleridge-Taylor. Other highlights include Pavel Haas’s electrifying string quartet ‘From the Monkey Mountains’ (with drum kit) and Tim Munro performing Lachlan Skipworth’s Cavern for alto flute and string quartet.
We hope you are able to join us (and the whales) to experience this year’s banquet of musical experiences.
Click on PROGRAM and PERFORMERS for more details of the six concerts, which will all be staged at the Point Lookout Community Hall.
We are again offering full-subscription Gold Pass tickets to all six concerts and Silver Pass subscriptions to Concerts 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 (no Concert 4). Click on TICKETS for more information.
Priority booking for Gold and Silver Pass subscribers:
To reward our valued regular subscribers, Gold Pass and Silver Pass subscriptions to the 2025 Stradbroke Chamber Music Festival will be the only tickets sold for a limited period. Tickets for individual concerts will then go on sale.
All ticket sales will be made online through 4MBS Ticketing and tickets will be booked using an allocated seating plan.
Our enews subscribers and social media friends will be notified immediately tickets go on sale. We hope to release Gold Passes and Silver Passes in the near future, followed shortly thereafter by tickets for single concerts.
I very much look forward to seeing you all again in July.

The Stradbroke Chamber Music Festival takes place on Quandamooka Country – the lands and waters of the Quandamooka people. They have been custodians of this country for over 25,000 years. We pay our respects to the Quandamooka people – and to their elders past, present and future – who hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and hopes attached to this country.
